    The familiar word ‘teriyaki’ is derived from the nouns teri (照り), which refers to a glossy coating (タレ), and yaki (焼き), which refers to the cooking method of grilling. Tokio High sauce from Saus.Guru is therefore made to help create the best Teri and Yaki. Teriyaki is therefore not necessarily a particular flavour or recipe, but refers to how it is used. A good teriyaki sauce contributes functionally to the tastiest grilled products through the right balance of the five taste sensations: sweet, sour, salty, bitter and umami.

    That is why great care was taken when formulating Tokio High to select the right ingredients and, even more importantly, the right proportions between them. Tokio High sauce is therefore perfect for a wide selection of fish such as salmon or white fish, shellfish such as prawns or lobster, poultry such as duck or chicken, beef, pork and virtually all vegetables.
